1932 to Now

So much has changed in Woodford since our Society
was formed in 1932 and indeed since I first became
chairman in the 1980s but I believe the opening
of this web site will help to cement interest in Woodford’s

Historical heritage for many years to come.

We hope to keep you up to date with our activities, news
and published historical articles. Indeed using the web site
might help you feel more at home in Woodford or if you
have moved away or tracing family who lived here - it may

bring forth a little nostalgia.
